Hello there! Welcome in! I'm glad that you're here!

My name is Alyssa Cooper, and I'm the creator of Alyssum Society. I'm so excited to finally start building this community that I've been dreaming up for so so long. If you're here, you must be wondering what exactly this community is. My vision for Alyssum Society is to be a place where Christians and believers can come together to connect on topics relating to God and scripture as well as other aspects of life on this Earth. Fashion, music, beauty, entertainment, and other pop culture topics are so fun to indulge in but I've experienced how isolating and convicting it can feel to want to experience these things in a more modest and faith-based manner than most pop culture sources provide. That's why I've created Alyssum Society: to be somewhere where you can still enjoy those topics but in a safe place with a like-minded community to share it with.

What kinds of content can you expect to see from Alyssum Society? Great question. I have some topics planned out so far that I'll share with you as both a sneak peek and insight into what to expect. Keep in mind that I wrote this in December so these first ideas are holiday-based and obviously will change throughout the year. Ideally, I plan on posting three main topics each week: fashion, entertainment, and games.

Additionally, I plan on utilizing a fantastic, up-and-coming, platform called Benable, which I started using earlier this year, to link any and all products I share with you all. It's similar to affiliate links from Amazon except that it's better. What's so great about Benable is that it allows you to link from almost any retailer; Walmart, Target, Ulta Beauty, Sephora, Kohl's, Barnes & Noble, and any other of their 38,900+ brand partners that you can think of. It's outstanding and super accessible!

While this will be a fun journey for me to embark on, above all, I truly pray that Alyssum Society becomes exactly what God has been helping me create. I pray that it reaches everyone who needs it and becomes a safe space for all who seek it. I pray that God uses me to fulfill whatever vision He has for this community. This is all for Him in the end.
